The Archbishop of St. Luke the Physician, aka Valentin Felix Voino-Giasenetski, born in 1877 in Kerch peninsula Crimea. In 1920 he was elected professor of anatomy and surgery at the University of Tashkent. He married Anna Vasiligievna nurse with whom he had four children. At the age of 38 years lost his wife from tuberculosis. Not remarried, and visited her grave often.
